Finally, I have a chance to write.  A small opportunity, to be sure, but an opportunity none-the-less.  And here I am blogging.  But it is only fair to keep up with this so that I can look back later and determine the process that got me to the end.  I have to be able to learn from my successes and failures so that I can ensure that I evolve.  Evolution as a writer is important.  It is what brings your craft from a hobby into a job.  And writing is a job to be sure.  It just takes a little longer before you get your first paycheck.  You know you are improving at your job when you get that paycheck, it represents a level of evolution that shows you are on the right track.  So now I go to it, and last.fm will surely help out.  I think today will be a Simon and Garfunkle day.
